About Us

Road to Chiropractic

Dr. Alyssa Guglielmo has always known that she wanted to pursue a career in health care. It was her love of the human body and an appreciation for its capacity to heal that originally drew her to chiropractic. In high school, she took part in hospital internships, shadowed doctors and even observed live surgeries. She was pre-med during her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania until she realized that a career in allopathic medicine would not afford her the opportunity to treat people as she had envisioned. Following graduation and a short career as production manager at a marketing communications firm, Dr. Guglielmo realized she still held an overwhelming desire to enter the health care field. Her research into the many avenues of health care revealed that chiropractic medicine would aptly enable her to fulfill her dream. It united her love of science and anatomy with her desire to promote natural healing. Chiropractic is consistent with Dr. Guglielmo’s mission to help people heal and prosper by using as much of their natural healing abilities as possible.

There she worked closely with Chiropractors, Neurologists and Physical Therapists and learned successful treatment protocols for chronic pain and other conditions.
